DETAILS OF GOVERNMENT DEPARTMENT IN SHANGLA

Out of the 12 devolved departments only eight Government department like DCO, Finance & Planning, Health, Education, Agriculture, Community Development, Revenue and Estate and Work & Services have started functioning in the District. where as the remaining four Government Department like Information Technology, Legal Deptt, Industries Manpower and labour Deptt, and Enterprises and investment Promotion have not yet established in the District        

Of the existing Government Department there are deficiency of staff. Total sanctioned strength of staff for these Department are 4201, Out of which 580 posts are lying vacant.
